UKTC Blackbelts Dominate WKA Scottish Kickboxing Championships - Updated 09/02/10
UKTC Black Belts representing our United Kingdom TKD Kickboxing Organisation (UKTKO) have returned from the 2010 WKA Scottish Kickboxing Championships with a wealth of Kickboxing titles and medals. Competing for the first time in a Kickboxing tournament which comprised of fighters from many martial arts styles including Kick Boxing, Kung Fu, Sport Karate and the best fighters from other Taekwon-Do organisations in Scotland, our fighters showed without doubt that the UKTC is by far the strongest and most talented Taekwon-Do organisation in Scotland and that the UKTKO is set to become one of the leading Kickboxing organisations in the UK.
The event was an official Qualifying event for the 2010 WKA World Kickboxing Championships.
The UKTC would like to congratulate the team on its outstanding performance. A special mention must go to Mr Steven McLaren, the UK TKD Kickboxing Team Coach, for guiding the team to such an emphatic victory.
